The Pergamano perforating ruler is a very convenient tool to use for perforating. There where the paper would normally be lifted during this technique, the perforating ruler will make sure that the paper stays in place. Place the perforating ruler on the parchment paper and position your fingers around the opening on the ruler. Then perforate in the opening between your fingers. You will notice that by using the ruler the parchment paper will remain free from any spots that are caused by sweat, moist or grease. When using multiple-needled perforating tools in combination with the perforating ruler it is possible to perforate closer to the edge without leaving creases on the paper. At all times, the paper will remain perfectly smooth and in place. The ruler contains metric and inch markings. The ruler is made from durable and transparent material, so that you can always keep a good view on your work and makes it easy to position. The ruler is ‘frosted’, to ensure an extra firm grip.
